It's still sinking in...17 years in the making.  It's been the family dream...the WC.  In what is being called the best derby race in the first 49 years...we won by a ski length.  Nick made a dramatic drive in the closing laps from 6th place to the lead coming out of turn 4 on the final lap.  Victory lane was amazing.  I think everyone on the team was in tears of joy. 

We want to thank all the fans and sponsors that joined our team on the ice to celebrate this special win.  The memories from Sunday will be forever in our minds.  And for all of those who are wondering...the hunger for a repeat has started already. 

On Monday morning we drove back from Eagle River to Tomahawk and got welcomed by everyone at Erv's Sales and Service.  It was a "mini" reminder of the celebration less than 24 hours before.  I don't think it's sunk in yet for the entire team...but  when we go to Wausau for the 525 this weekend and get introducted as the 2012 World Champion I think it'll start to hit us that we've really done it.

We can't say this enough...but truly none of this would have been possible without our sponsors.  When you see them...tell them congratulations on sponsoring the World Champion.
